This book is about the life and teachings of Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with Him)-The Frist Caliph of Islam.

Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه  was a rich man and famous for his good characterand generous nature.

After Converting to islam, he used his money in defending and helping fellow Muslims. He purchased and set free many slaves.

The first Muazzin of Islam, Bilal Habashi رضي الله عنه  was set free by Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه.  When the Prophet صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ received the first revelation from Allah and when he was taken to the heaven (al - Mir'aj). Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه believed the prophet صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ and stood by him. Thus, he earned the title of al-Siddiq', which means a very strong and honest friend.

The Prophet صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ once said, 'No one has been a better companion to me than Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه.

In order to finance Tabuk expedition on the Syrian border, the Prophet صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ  invited the Muslims to contribute towards it. Uthman رضي الله عنه gave ten thiousand camles and Umar رضي الله عنه contributed half of his wealth. When Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه  came with his contibutions, the Prophet صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ as to what he left behind for himself and his family. Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه said, "I have left brought all that I had. I have Allah and His Prophet صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ left for myself and my family.
